Pre-Order Bonus Night of the Unextinguished Flame

On July 12, 2026, publisher Perp Games detailed the pre-order bonus for The Relic: First Guardian: The Night of the Unextinguished Flame. The game is available now on PC and PlayStation 5 (launched July 31, 2026). Pre-order owners should have automatic entitlement; everyone else can buy the same content as standalone digital DLC for roughly $9.99 / £7.99 — full SKU breakdown on DLC and editions.

This page lists every publicly confirmed piece and explains how those rewards fit a game built on unique gear and Relic memories rather than disposable loot.

This is not a promo-code list. For typed codes (when they exist), use the codes page. For platform dates, see the release date guide.

What the pack includes

According to PlayStation Store and Perp Games materials, the pack unlocks:

RewardNameRole
Event / dungeonSanctuary of the Forgotten LightExclusive dungeon with currency and upgrade mats
Unique Relic (Sealstone)Sealstone of the Undying EmberPassive Relic / Sealstone memory
Exclusive armorArmor of the Unextinguished VigilLegendary unique armor set
Exclusive weaponsUnextinguished Vigil (Sword & Shield)Legendary unique weapon pair

Store copy frames each item as a story fragment, matching the game’s rule that every weapon and armor piece exists once in Arsiltus.

Sealstone of the Undying Ember

The Sealstone is described as a faint light that endured inside cold mist — mocked as a pitiful ember, yet a final warmth for souls who lost their way. In systems language, it is a unique Relic you socket using the same progression fantasy in Relics and builds.

Treat it as a thematic package, not an automatic win condition. Pair it with a coherent skill-tree plan and the weapon family you intend to main.

Armor of the Unextinguished Vigil

The armor is framed as the worn kit of an old sentinel weathered by mist. Practically, expect a unique armor identity you will not farm again.

Unextinguished Vigil (Sword & Shield)

The sword and shield are tied to Hervan, who refused to release them on the night the mist was thickest. If you planned to learn parry → Groggy loops on Sword and Shield, this set is a natural day-one companion — see combat guide.

Sanctuary of the Forgotten Light

The exclusive dungeon rewards gold, Ancient Relic Energy, and upgrade materials alongside gear. Use it as a controlled environment to practice stamina-for-defense rules before denser Brutal routes. Pair with getting started and tips and tricks.

Pre-order vs digital DLC vs waiting

  • Pre-order owners — entitlement should appear automatically on first boot
  • Post-launch buyers — purchase DLC on Steam/PSN; see DLC and editions
  • Wait-and-see players — Mixed Steam reviews make a base-game trial reasonable; read post-launch support and review hub

Physical PS5 discs arrive September 4, 2026 with map + this pack + Black Banquet bundled — verify your region SKU.

Which platforms get the bonus?

Major digital storefronts advertise Night of the Unextinguished Flame. Always verify the current store page for your region. Our official links hub points to Steam and publisher channels.

How the bonus interacts with wiki guides

Buy the vigil if the theme speaks to you — then install patches and master defense-only stamina so the Sanctuary feels like a promise kept.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is The Night of the Unextinguished Flame?

The pre-order bonus pack — armor, Sword and Shield, Sealstone Relic, and Sanctuary dungeon — now also sold as digital DLC (~$9.99).

Do I need a typed promo code for the pre-order bonus?

No. Pre-order owners get automatic entitlement; post-launch buyers purchase the DLC SKU. Typed codes appear on [codes](/codes/) only when verified.

Can I still get Night of the Unextinguished Flame?

Yes. It is sold as digital DLC if you did not pre-order. See [DLC and editions](/updates/dlc-and-editions/).

Does the bonus replace a starter build?

It gives unique gear and a Relic, but you still need combat fundamentals from the [combat guide](/guides/combat-and-parry/) and [tips and tricks](/guides/tips-and-tricks/).
