The Relic First Guardian Updates & Roadmap
Launch week intel, day-one patches, platform rollouts, and ongoing support for Guardians.
This hub tracks The Relic: First Guardian version history, publisher drops, and roadmap notes for PC, PlayStation 5, and later console releases. The game is AVAILABLE NOW on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5 as of July 31, 2026. Launch-week entries focus on Patch 1, performance follow-ups, and honest player reception — with links back to the guides those changes touch.
Project Cloud Games built The Relic: First Guardian as a soulslike ARPG with seventy-plus Relics, five weapon families, twelve skill trees, and roughly eighty Brutals in Arsiltus. Patch notes that touch stamina (defense-only), Groggy windows, or Relic passives get priority coverage here.

How we log patches
Each update entry should answer:
- What changed for players today?
- Which wiki pages need rereading — combat, Relics, tier lists, or Brutals?
- What is rumor versus official notes from Perp Games / Steam / console storefronts?
We will not invent patch numbers beyond official channels. When notes drop, they link from Official Links.
Post-launch categories we track
- Combat balance — stamina costs, parry windows, Groggy duration, Battle Staff cooldowns
- Relic adjustments — passive changes across the seventy-plus Relic pool
- Brutal fixes — telegraph clarity, damage tuning, checkpoint placement near Tibelle’s Blessing sites
- Performance patches — PC (Steam app 2827820), PS5, Steam Deck, and later Xbox / Switch 2 ports
- QoL updates — map markers, inventory sorting, accessibility options

Platform rollout timeline
PC and PS5 digital owners are live now. Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 follow later in summer 2026 — their first patch cycles may differ. PS5 physical owners joining September 4 might benefit from hotfixes already landed on digital.
What players should do on patch day
- Install Patch 1+ before judging difficulty or performance
- Skim official notes first on this hub and post-launch support
- Recheck your Relic package if cooldowns or passives were touched
- Revisit controls only if input or camera options changed
- Avoid panic rerolls until you know whether a nerf hits your win condition
- Report bugs through official channels — not fan wiki comments
How patches affect tier lists
When Perp Games or Project Cloud Games adjust weapon families or Relic passives, we revise the tier list hub with a dated note linking back here. A Dagger buff might not matter to Long Sword players — read the specific change before abandoning your unique weapon.
